“Call Me Ziba” by Farhad Hassanzadeh has been nominated for the IBBY Collection of Books for Young People with Disabilities.
Iran’s Children’s Book Council selected Hassanzadeh’s book along with three others for their message of “hope and perseverance”, their “ability to express philosophical and social concepts in simple terms”, their “creative illustrations” and “artistic forms”.
The IBBY Collection is located at the Toronto Public Library and features a large international selection of books for and about young people with disabilities.
