The introduction ceremony of Grant Project was hold on November 19 in Saraaye Ketab, introducing all translated and published books among which was a particular event to announce the release of the Armenian translation of Call Me Ziba by Farhad Hassanzadeh.
Asatourian, the translator claimed “I would read each translated chapter for my daughter who is the same age as the protagonist. Her reactions assured me that I have made the right choice. I believe the book will be popular in Armenia. Now we have a good book and I also have a good friend.”
Andranik Simonian, a professor at the university who edited the translation stated “Asatourian’s translation was detailed. He has been the chief editor of several magazines in Armenia. He employed the standard language which seemed unreal to me sometimes. But when I read the Persian version, I understood what a difficult job he has done.”
He also emphasized “While reading the Armenian translation, I can tell that you will get the same impression you would get by the Persian version.”
