We are honored to announce that the book An Umbrella with White Butterflies has been published in Spain.
Firstly published in 2017 by Fatemi publications (Tuti books) in Iran, the book was reprinted for three times over a short period of only three years.
An Umbrella with White Butterflies tells three parallel stories while endings are tied together. It is about the stories of some kids who are simply waiting to welcome the spring and Persian New Year.
This book was illustrated by Ghazzaleh Bigdelou whose illustrations have been appreciated by Children Book Council of Iran (CBC), Shiraze Book Design annual award and published in the catalogue of Biennial Illustration Bratislava.
The American author and translator, Lawrence Schimel, has translated the book into Spanish and it was published by La Malata. An Umbrella with White Butterflies had already been published in Mandarin and Korean.
