On October 19 at the Iranian Reading Hall of the library the Iranian Children’s writer Farhad Hasanzadeh
read his authored “Myriapoda” and “Matchmaking” fairy tales. The event started under the sounds of svirel and flute and the Iranian children’s writer during telling played harmonica.
A matinee with the heading “Iranian Poetry” took place after storytelling. The pupils of schools having Iranian orientation in Iranian and Armenian uttered poems of Iranian famous writers. The poem of Al. Pushikin was uttered. An episode from “Shahnameh” epic poem written by Iranian writer Firdausi was staged. The participant pupils in Armenian presented Iran’s and its rich literature history. The guests of the event were the head of the UFFICIO Ricordi Music Foundation Massimo Gentili Tedeschi, IBBY Executive director Liz Page, IBBY UAE Ali Al Shemmari.
